The KGL Foundation, in partnership with the Millennium Marathon, is set to organize a 25/5 KM marathon event dubbed “DARE TO DO RUN WITH PURPOSE” to promote health and well-being.
Scheduled for Saturday, September 6, 2025, the marathon will kick off promptly at 6 a.m. at Independence Square. The initiative aims to encourage physical fitness and well-being among participants, while emphasizing the benefits of walking as a sustainable form of exercise.
A notable dignitary, Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff, will grace the event as Special Guest. Mr. Debrah has recently gained recognition for his “Walk with Julius” initiative, which encourages the public to adopt walking as a daily fitness habit. His participation is expected to inspire and motivate participants to commit to healthier lifestyles.

The KGL Foundation, a corporate social initiative under the KGL Group headed by Mr. Elliot Dadey, the CEO, was established to focus on youth empowerment, arts and culture, and health and sports.
The collaboration between the KGL Foundation and Millennium Marathon represents a significant step toward fostering a culture of wellness and social responsibility. The marathon aligns with the Foundation’s broader mission of empowering youth and promoting cultural and athletic activities that build healthier communities.
Participants and supporters are encouraged to join the marathon for a purposeful walk that goes beyond fitness, symbolizing the collective journey toward better health and community solidarity. Registration details and additional event information are available through the Millennium Marathon organizers ahead of the September 6 event.
