Mohammed Aryeetey is set to face Filipino boxer Jeronil Borres in his first international fight in an 8-round contest on August 12 at the Findlay Toyota Center, Phoenix, Arizona.
The 19-year old boxer, aka Golden Star, has won all 7 of his fights in the flyweight division, while Borres, 27, comes in with a record of 19 fights: 11 wins, 7 losses, and 1 draw.
Speaking to GBC on the Hot Seat on Studio 5 live on GTV Sports+, Aryeetey and his manager Edwin Evans, said they are ready to take the world by storm.
They also called for Ghanaian support and prayers while away.
Under the management of Winbase Promotions, Aryeetey’s team has since arrived in the USA ahead of the bout.
