Nukunu FC has officially announced the appointment of Christian Chibueze as the club’s new Head Coach.
The experienced tactician joins the Division Two Club on a two-year renewable deal.
In a Facebook post by the Club President, Eric Edem Agbana, Coach Chibueze boasts an impressive track record, having played a key role in guiding Home Stars FC to qualify form the Division Two to Division One in the 2022/23 football season.

Nukunu FC is confident that his expertise will be instrumental in shaping the team’s future.
Club President and owner of Nukunu FC, Eric Edem Agbana, who is the Member of Parliament for Ketu North welcomed Coach Chibueze to the Nukunu family, expressing optimism about the team’s prospects under his leadership.
“We believe his expertise will be vital for our next chapter. We wish him every success as he leads us to greater heights.” Hon. Agbana said.
Coach Chibueze, popularly known as “Mourinho,” is expected to bring his wealth of experience and expertise to the team, driving them towards achieving greater success after leading Homestars FC for a decade.
He is expected to make a strong impact in the upcoming Volta Regional Division Two Season which commences in October.

Speaking to the media after the announcement the Licence C coach outlined key pillars that would aid the team’s success in the new season.
The Bundesliga Football School Certificate holder mentioned team unity, player development, skills sharpening, attractive playing style, competitiveness, and strengthening of relationships of and on the pitch as pillars to help him succeed at the club.
Nukunu FC last season finished fourth in the Southern Sector A Zone A standings of the Volta Regional Division Two League. Missing out on the sub-middle league due to an unfortunate 6-point loss which kept them at 17 points after 14 matches.
