Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has presented GH¢10,000 to Faith Ladies, the 2024/25 Women’s FA Cup champions, in recognition of their outstanding achievement. The Dansoman-based club visited the Minister to present him with the trophy, marking a celebratory moment for the team and the Ministry.

Upon receiving the team, Minister Adams congratulated the players and coaching staff for their remarkable success. He praised the rapid growth of women’s football in Ghana and highlighted the important role Faith Ladies are playing in leading this progress. “You have done Ghana proud,” he said, affirming the government’s and Ghana Football Association’s commitment to supporting female footballers nationwide.

Kofi Adams also urged the team to maintain their dedication through continuous training and hard work to ensure future successes. Mr. Mordey commended Minister Adams for his dedication to women’s football and expressed optimism about future collaboration. “We appreciate your encouragement and assistance, and we look forward to working together to achieve even greater successes,” he said.
