Dreams FC have officially appointed Winfred Dormon as their new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 season, the club announced via their social media channels.
Dormon, who has been associated with the club for over a decade, steps into the main job following various stints as assistant coach and caretaker head coach in recent years.
Dormon’s deep knowledge of the club and its culture is cited as a key reason for his promotion. Over the years, he has gained valuable experience working under notable coaches including Karim Zito, Vladislav Viric and Ignatius Osei Fosu.

In the latter part of the previous season, Dormon stepped in as the interim coach after the departure of Karim Zito. His leadership during that transitional period helped steady the team as they prepared for the next campaign.
The club now entrusts him with the responsibility to lead the team through preseason preparations and ensure that new players integrate smoothly ahead of the league kickoff.
Dreams FC views Dormon’s appointment as a strategic move to build on the foundation laid during his extensive involvement with the club.
His proven ability to develop talent and tactical understanding aligns with the club’s ambitions to compete strongly in the Ghana Premier League and pursue continental qualification.
As head coach, Winfred Dormon will oversee all football operations, working to elevate Dreams FC’s performance and maintain its status as one of Ghana’s competitive top-flight clubs.

The appointment also complements the recent addition of Fiifi Parker Hanson as assistant coach, strengthening the technical team ahead of a challenging season.
