The First Phase of the Bui Power Authority’s 250 megawatt Hydro-Solar Hybrid Project, has been inaugurated at Banda in the Bono Region.
The project, estimated at $47m, will provide electricity to about 59,230 households and also ensure stable and cost-effective power.
The Bui Hydro- Solar Hybrid Project, will create employment for about 20 semi-skilled and 312 low-skilled workers.
