An electronic platform, known as the Ghana Online Mall has been launched, creating a one stop shop portal for local businesses, especially Small and Medium scale Enterprises, SMEs, to advertise their products and services online.
The Platform, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Business Development and National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP), will serve as a market place for all Ghanaian businesses.
The Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Ignatius Baffour Awuah, said government is poised to leverage on ICT to create jobs for the youth, stressing that about eight thousand jobs will be created in the next twelve months.
