Government has released an enhanced travel guideline for passengers and Airlines in a bid to reduce recorded positive cases.
The rules include a fine of $3,500 per passenger for Airlines who board passengers without PCR test results or who transport or disembark passengers with positive PCR results into the country.
In addition, Ghanaian residents who depart the country and return within one week will no longer be required to present a Covid-19 result from the country of departure.
Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah announced these new guidelines at a media briefing in Accra.
