Meeting to decide on new transport fares ends inconclusively

The meeting between the Transport Ministry and the National Executive of the GPRTU to determine the percentage increase in transport fares has ended inconclusively.

The meeting has been postponed to Tuesday, May 11.

Head of Communication of GPRTU Imoro ABASS told Nathaniel Nartey that both parties failed to agree on a percentage for the increase in transport fares.

He called for calm while negotiations are ongoing.
