Mr Alan Kyerematen has handed over to caretaker Trade Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor following his resignation on January 5, 2023.
His resignation, which took effect Monday, January 16, 2023, is in pursuit of his presidential ambition.
At a brief handing over ceremony at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Mr Alan Kyerematen took the caretaker Minister through the operations of the Ministry and presented his handing over notes.
For his part, Mr Samuel Abu Jinapor pledged his commitment to the Ministry.
“I pledged my commitment to work with all stakeholders and partners to steer the affairs of this Ministry until a substantive Minister is appointed,” Mr Abu Jinapor tweeted after the brief ceremony.
