A draft proposal for the training of Fire Police (FP) of the Ghana National Fire Service by the Military Police Wing of the Ghana Armed Forces has been submitted to the Fire Service Council for discussion.
At a durbar in Accra, the Chief Fire Officer, Mr. Julius Kuunor, said when finalised it will be forwarded to the Ministry For the Interior for further action to pave the way for professional fire fighters to participate in United Nations Pace Keeping Operations.
