GBC congratulates two staff on GJA election win

The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), has congratulated two of its staff who were elected in the just ended Ghana Journalists Association’s (GJA) national election.

The two, Mr. Dominic Hlordzi, Editor-In-Chief and Head of GBC’s Energy Desk, and Ms Rebecca Ekpe also Editor-In-Chief and Head of GBC Online beat their contenders in the protracted election.

Mr. Hlordzi becomes the National Organising Secretary while Ms Ekpe takes up the Public Relations Officer position.

In a congratulatory message on behalf of the Board and Management, the Director-General of GBC, Prof. Amin Alhasan said, “We celebrate you for your singular decision to stand for election into an executive function of the GJA and we share your excitement in your successful election.”

The Corporation wished Mr. Hlordzi and Ms Ekpe well and hoped that they contribute their best to help GJA and GBC promote high professional standards in journalism in the country.
