A downpour at Monday dawn has flooded some parts of Accra creating problems for motorists. Those commuting on the Accra- Nsawam road had it difficult using that stretch.
Portions of that road had flooded especially at Tesano close to Peace FM and the part near the Police Depot.
Vision was poor and it became very difficult for motorists using that stretch to move.
Some vehicles broke down and others had to move slowly or park.
One major problem facing motorists in this rainy season is the faded road markings and broken railings bending onto the roads.
Also lack of street lights on some portions of the Achimota-Ofankor road added to the challenges.
Motorists are therefore appealing to authorities responsible for fixing street lights, broken railings and road markings to save the public from unnecessary accidents.
