Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwesi Amoako Atta, has given assurance that the Volta Region will not be left out in government’s year of roads promise.
He said there are currently 33 ongoing road projects in the region and his Ministry intends to send contractors to the site to complete all abandoned road projects.
Mr. Amoako Atta accompanied President Akufo-Addo to inspect some road projects in the Ho municipality and Adaklu district.
President Akufo-Addo earlier cut the sod for work to resume on the 10.2-kilometre roads within the main campus of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS).
