Good roads are every road users’ wish, for safe daily travel and for vehicles to remain in top condition. However, due to circumstances, vehicles can veer off their lanes. But thanks to guardrails, many potentially tragic crashes are curtailed. They lessen the severity of crashes and deflect a vehicle back to the roadway. Unfortunately, in many parts of the country some damaged guardrails are not repaired posing danger to motorists and pedestrians. Soyokuor Quarcoo-Tchire reports on the state of affairs of guard rails along the Achimota-Ofankor barrier stretch of the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
