Police in Tamale arrest youth for attempting to free suspect in custody

Police in Tamale Tuesday fired warning shots to disperse a group of rowdy youth who attempted to free a suspect at the premises of the Metropolitan Police charge office.
The Police managed to arrest four of the group members but the rest escaped.
According to the Northern Regional Police PRO, DSP Yussif Tanko, the suspect was arrested for working on a piece of land under litigation.
