Government has waived the requirement for pre-arrival visa acquisition for travelers to Ghana ahead of the Christmas season.
This means that passengers will instead receive their visas upon arrival in Ghana.
The arrangement, which takes effect from December 1, 2023, to January 15, 2024, is part of government’s Beyond the Return agenda.
This was conveyed in a Statement by the Ministry of Transport to all Airlines operating in the country.
The Statement said it will be appreciated if systems are updated to reflect the new arrangement.
