Since its establishment, Little Drop Lifeline Foundation has been a beacon of hope for vulnerable communities across Ghana, impacting lives through education, humanitarian aid, and community development initiatives. The foundation has successfully enrolled numerous children back in school, fed over 500 people living on the streets of Accra, supported individuals in learning trades, and constructed boreholes in rural communities.

In an interview with Nation 1 News, the founder of the foundation, Mrs. Sandra Darnes Ofori, expressed her passion for giving hope to humanity and helping the less fortunate.

“This is my passion, to bring smiles to the faces of those who feel forgotten. It is also a privilege to support the government’s efforts in reaching the unreached. His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has pledged to create more jobs for the youth, and as an organization, we believe contributing to vulnerable communities is a key step in reducing crime and fostering development,” she said.

Mrs. Ofori also highlighted a recent incident on the Winneba road, where a newborn baby was abandoned by the roadside with its placenta still attached. “The baby has since been taken to a nearby orphanage, and our foundation has taken full responsibility for providing food, clothing, diapers, and all necessary care to ensure the child’s well-being,” she explained.

She appealed to women, teenagers, and single mothers to seek hope in difficult situations rather than resorting to harmful actions. “Dumping a baby on the street or in the trash should never be an option. There is always hope, no matter how bad things may seem,” she urged.

Looking ahead, Little Drop Lifeline Foundation aims to expand its reach by embarking on prison outreaches, celebrating festive seasons with inmates, and providing programs that address challenges like drug addiction and teenage pregnancy.

Mrs. Ofori called on corporate organizations, both in Ghana and abroad, to partner with the foundation in order to extend their impact to more communities. “Together, we can transform lives and restore hope where it is needed most,” she concluded.

The foundation’s work continues to inspire many, proving that even a “little drop” can create a powerful wave of change.

The foundation can be reached on TikTok and Facebook at Little Drop Lifeline Community Foundation, by phone at 0543313384 / 0502948596, or at its office located at One Leg Junction, Millennium City, Kasoa.
