Algeria’s JS Kabylie delivered a dominant performance against Ghana’s Bibiani Gold Stars, securing a comfortable 5-0 victory. This resounding win sealed a 7-0 aggregate triumph for the Algerian side in their CAF Champions League clash, bringing Bibiani’s continental journey to a disappointing end.
From the outset, JS Kabylie asserted control over the game, exploiting weaknesses in the Gold Stars’ defence with swift, clinical attacks. The home team found the back of the net multiple times, overwhelming the Ghanaian side and showing no mercy on their home turf.
Bibiani Gold Stars struggled to mount any meaningful response, unable to threaten the JS Kabylie goal throughout the match. Their defence looked vulnerable against the persistent pressure, and their attack failed to find rhythm or create significant chances in the Algerian stadium.
This result means Bibiani Gold Stars exit the CAF Champions League with a heavy 7-0 aggregate loss, reflecting the gulf in class between the two teams over the two legs. It has been a tough round for the Ghanaian side who had hoped to advance further in the competition.
For JS Kabylie, the victory boosts their confidence as they progress deeper into the continental tournament. Meanwhile, Bibiani Gold Stars will look to regroup domestically and learn from this experience as they aim to improve their performance in future international competitions.
