The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has kick-started a nationwide exhibition of its voter register for the party’s presidential primary scheduled on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
The exercise which started Wednesday, December 31, 2025, will end January 5, 2026. The register is on exhibition at all 276 constituencies in the country.
The exhibition is to ensure accuracy and transparency in the electoral process.
A statement signed and issued by the Secretary to the NPP Presidential Elections Committee (PEC), William Yamoah, said the purpose of the nationwide exhibition of the voter register is to ensure accuracy and transparency in the electoral process.
“We designed this initiative to enable all stakeholders, especially delegates, to confirm their details in their respective constituencies and regions, the statement said.
The five aspirants vying for the party’s flagbearer slot are Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Dr Bryan Acheampong, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.
Party members have been urged to report any discrepancies, including omissions, misspellings, and incorrect photographs, to ensure the register is accurate.
The committee urged the flagbearer hopefuls to appoint representatives to observe the exhibition exercise at the constituency level.
