A major fire has erupted at Kasoa New Market, authorities say, with firefighting efforts ongoing.
Firefighters from the Kasoa and Weija stations are responding to the blaze, while additional fire engines have been dispatched from Accra to assist in containing the fire.
The Ghana National Fire Service confirmed the incident on its official Facebook page, noting that operations to bring the fire under control are still in progress.
