The District Chief Executive, DCE, for Kwahu Afram Plains North, Kate Mawusi Babanawo, has inspected a number of ongoing development projects in the district to ensure quality work and timely completion.
The inspection took place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, as part of efforts by the District Assembly to monitor progress on key infrastructure projects.
The projects inspected included the Agordeke JHS project, Amankwa Tornu KG project, Donkorkrom–Ntonaboma road reshaping, Supom Clinic, the Cattle Market, the Emergency Ward at Presbyterian Hospital Donkorkrom and the renovation of the District Assembly Hall.
The visit formed part of the Assembly’s routine monitoring exercise to assess progress of work, identify challenges and engage stakeholders to ensure that projects are executed according to plan for the benefit of the people of the district.
The DCE was accompanied by the District Planning Officer, District Engineer, District Budget Officer, District Auditor, a representative of the Ghana Education Service, the General Manager of Presbyterian Hospital, Donkorkrom, the District Health Director as well as Assembly Members from Kpala, Agordeke and Adeemra.
The District Chief Executive commended the contractors and technical officers for the progress made so far and encouraged them to maintain quality standards while ensuring that the projects are completed within the stipulated timelines.
