The East Legon District Police Commander, DSP George Asare says he was sidelined during the Ayawaso West-Wuogon by-election by the Regional Command, which according to him is against police standard practice.
He said his official vehicle – a pick-up, was taken away from him by the Greater Accra Regional, Commander.
DSP Asare said this when he took his turn at the hearing of the Commission of Inquiry into the violence that characterized the Ayawaso West-Wuogon by-election.
