Spokesperson for Black stars General Captain Asamoah Gyan, Andy Obeng says they welcome the appointment of Dede Ayew as the new Captain of the senior national team, Black Stars.
He said upon consultations, they can not disregard the orders of the President, making Asamoah Gyan the General Captain.
He said Asamoah Gyan welcomes the decision of the Black Stars Coach, Akwasi Appiah and pledges to support the team to win the ultimate at the AFCON tournament.
He spoke on news and current affairs programme, ‘Behind The News’ on Uniiq FM.
