The Minister of Energy, John Peter Amewu, is set to brief the media this afternoon on the power concession agreement with Power Distribution Services (PDS) Ghana Limited which has been suspended.
The suspension of the agreement with the power distribution company has generated a lot of controversy over the days.
The Ministers briefing is to give further explanation and clarity on the issue.
Meanwhile, government has begun a full-scale enquiry into the abortive power concession agreement with Power Distribution Services (PDS) Ghana Limited.
The enquiry, to be conducted both within and outside the country, will among other things, establish who made false representations to the government to drive it into the agreement.
