Tamale District Court has remanded ten persons in prison custody. They are among fourteen persons who were charged with possession and use of narcotics.
Four others including a female were granted bail with one surety each. The suspects are to reappear in court today.
Northern Regional Crime Officer, Superintendent Otuo Acheampong in an interview disclosed, that the suspects were picked up in a joint Police-Military swoop in the Tamale Metropolis.
He said the move is part of efforts to clamp down on criminals.
