Nigeria’s Electoral Commission says it is working with the security forces to prevent disruption of tomorrow’s election.
The Commission says voting will take place in all 774 local government areas.
It therefore appealed to the electorate and officials to conduct themselves in a manner that would not affect or pose any threat to the elections.
Last Saturday, elections in Nigeria were halted hours before polling began.
It was a huge inconvenience for millions of Nigerians, many of whom had traveled long distances to vote.
The poll will now be held tomorrow, 23rd February.
