Both the Daily Graphic and the Ghanaian Times speak on the need for Parliament to work hand in hand for the progress of the house and the country.
To the Daily Graphic the declaration by President Akufo-Addo that Ghanaians must work together especially in Parliament for the good of the country must be carefully adhered to by all citizens. It says partisan politics must, not be allowed, as it only sets to bring division among members.
Meanwhile the Ghanaian Times is projecting interesting times for the eight parliament of the 4th Republic adding that it is going to be the best because this time parliamentarians would have to work hand in hand to seek the interest of the nation. According to Paper, in such a hung party, members will not take their constituents for granted; hence they will passionately fight for their interest. The Times is therefore calling for consensus building between both the majority and minority to enhance progress of democracy and national development.
