The Ghanaian Times expresses worry about the high prices of local products in the country. The Paper cites reports from some Ghanaians on the increase in the price of Chocolate yesterday (February 14) being Valentine’s Day. The Paper says cocoa is good for health yet its products are expensive for lower income families, which makes them lose the health benefit of these products, despite the fact that cocoa is abundant in the country. The Times appeals to government to do all it can to help local manufacturers to produce at reasonably low cost for them to sell locally at affordable prices.
