The Daily Graphic is excited about the 2021 budget which captured particularly infrastructural projects, especially roads, coupled with the intention to continue with the implementation of its flagship programme such as Planting for food and jobs, One-district, One-factory which government intends to stimulate the economy and create jobs for mass of the people. The paper nevertheless appeals to government to lead by example by tightening its belt. It says the open show of opulence and lavish lifestyle by some government appointees must end. The Graphic, urges government to take the fight against corruption in the country a notch higher to ensure that while the people are squeezed, the money does not end up in the pockets of a few. It therefore looks forward to a healthy and passionate debate, devoid of partisanship and the eventual passage of the budget to enable government to start spending and implementing its laudable programmes in the interest of all.

The Ghanaian Times commends Ghanaians for patronizing the COVID-19 vaccines, as more than four hundred thousand people have taken the jabs. The Paper says the high patronage of the vaccines indicates that Ghanaians have defied the conspiracy theories that sought to demonize the vaccine. However, it encourages those who still entertain fears or have misconception about the vaccine to go for it, because they are safe. The Times is hopeful Ghana will achieve herd immunity, given that government executes its plan to bring in 17.6 million additional doses by June.
