The Ghanaian Times hails the Ghana Journalists Association , GJA on its 70th anniversary. The paper acknowledges the struggles members of the inky fraternity have gone through in the past and praises former President Kufour for repealing the criminal libel law. As the GJA marks this major milestone, the paper calls on the association to prioritise the welfare and training of journalists to promote professionalism and increased public confidence in the media.

The Daily Graphic describes it as timely, the charge by president, Akufo Addo to MDAs and MMDAs to collaborate with internal audit units in their organisations to build robust internal control systems that will help plug waste and curb misuse of public funds. The paper urges the relevant authorities to build the capacities of internal auditors for them to live up to their mandate saying lack of expertise form the basis of the limited impact of the internal audit units. The Graphic makes a case for adequate compensation for auditors to prevent them from falling to the many pressures they face in the line of duty.
