The Ghanaian Times writes on COVID-19 and stranded Ghanaians abroad. Whilst the Paper commends the government for facilitating the safe arrival of Ghanaians from abroad into the country, it bemoans the high cost of hotels to accommodate those who have been evacuated to undergo mandatory quarantine which has become a great burden on the government to carry alone. The Paper therefore appeals to institutions and individuals which have facilities to offer support to the government by giving out their facilities as places for quarantine so as to ensure that all stranded outside the borders of the country return home safely without exposing the whole populace to COVID-19.
