The Ghanaian Times urges all to wait patiently for the President to form his government. The Paper recalls the speed with which the President constituted his first government, saying there is a general anticipation that some names would be out by now. It notes rumors and debate circulating on social media about the amendment of article 78 of the constitution which enjoins the president to appoint majority of his ministers of state from Parliament and the scrapping of some Ministries, but the Times entreats everybody to be calm and give the President space to form a competent and robust government to implement his programmes of economic and social transformation.

The Daily Graphic discusses the increasing number in COVID-19 cases. The paper describes the situation as worrying and needs urgent attention. The Graphic thinks the country is slowly moving towards the lowest point in the pandemic but believes there is light at the end of the tunnel. The papers says Ghana can only win the fight if it maintains the level of discipline and sense of responsibility to stop the virus from spreading. The Graphic is therefore calling on all to put an end to the blame game and return to the kind of life in which COVID-19 is no longer to be feared but managed.
