The Daily Graphic believes there is a need for some clarity on the roll-out of the Comprehensive Sexuality Education policy in the wake of moves by Ghana Education Service (GES) to introduce it as part of the new educational curriculum. The paper is of the view that stakeholders including the developers, National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, the GES, Ministry of Education among others must be forthcoming with the needed information to calm down nerves and give people the reassurance that the policy is not going to shred the country’s values and morals.
The Ghanaian Times adds its voice to calls for the security agencies to put a stop to chieftaincy-piracy which is beginning to be the trend now in some parts of the country. The Paper says the act is due to indiscipline and gapping corruption and has resulted in many chieftaincy cases which are before the law courts. It says the issue has produced land guards and criminals who have become threats to people in some areas. The Times, warns that the acts, if not checked could spark more conflicts and bloodshed in the country.
