The Daily Graphic  seeks to remind all and sundry that International Men’s Day must be considered an opportunity for people of goodwill everywhere to appreciate and celebrate men in their lives and the contribution they make to society for the greater good of all. The Paper says the ultimate aim of marking the day is to promote basic humanitarian values, create awareness of men’s mental health and look into the important aspects of their social, emotional, physical and spiritual life. According to the Graphic, just like women and girls, men and boys also need attention to help them maximize their potential and be able to support women and girls’ empowerment.

The Ghanaian Times wishes that World Children’s Day celebrated yesterday was used in addressing the educational needs of the children, particularly as the world battles a disease with no known vaccine for its prevention. The Paper hopes the world would not forget the future leaders in this difficult time but rather come together to create a better world for children. The Times says it is time to promote togetherness around the world, create awareness for the problems children face in every corner of the globe, and improve their welfare.
