The Ghanaian Times re-echoes the sentiment expressed by President Akufo-Addo on the need for people to practice good hygiene in addition to the wearing of nose mask to prevent the spread COVID-19. The Paper urges stakeholders and the public to take the issue seriously as there could be a second spike of the disease. The Times hopes the public will heed the advice and make sure not to exhibit careless attitude toward the disease. The Paper commends Ghanaians on how far they have come to consolidate the gains made so far  and not create the conditions for the disease to spread again.

The Daily Graphic is excited that COCOBOD has launched the Cocoa Management System to collect detailed information on cocoa farmers and other stakeholders operating in the sector. The cocoa sector census is meant to give the board and the country concrete and verified data on the cocoa sector and its stakeholders for the purpose of improved management, forecasting and policy responses. The Graphic says it is not oblivious of the role of public education in the successful execution of the project and, therefore, calls on COCOBOD and its stakeholders to collaborate with the media to create public awareness on the project, with the view to adequately informing the relevant sections of the people on the project, its objectives and the need for broader support.
