The Daily Graphic is glad for the day in memory of Ghana’s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and believes the most important issue that should occupy the mind of every Ghanaian is the opportunity the day presents. It says the sacrifices Dr. Kwame Nkrumah made for the development of Ghana and Africa should be what pushes Ghanaians to work hard to ensure that the foundations laid by Dr. Nkrumah do not go waste. Surely if there is anything worth emulating, the Graphic thinks citizens must learn the good deeds attributed by the man who was fearless, bold and ready for fight for the good of all.
The historic meeting between the North and South Korea leaders have been applauded and described as a good sign of sustainable development. The Ghanaian Times is of the view that the meeting between the two leaders is long overdue since the rivalry between the two has retarded development for both sides. The paper commends US President Donald Trump and the UN for taken steps to ensure that the meeting between North and South Korea went on successfully. It further hopes that the meeting will pave the way for a more open dialogue on matters relating to nuclear weapons which is the main problem between North and South Korea.
