The Daily Graphic is suggesting to the National Communications Authority (NCA) to address all disparities in the implementation of the Significant Market Power, SMP and create a level playing field for all operators in the telecommunication sector. It says NCA should take a critical look at the cost of its 4G spectrum to encourage other small operators to roll onto the SMP platform and also encourage the other 40 per cent penetration across the country. The  Paper asks that the state facilitate the provision of fibre-optic networks to all areas in the country and give support to telecom operators, to connect more homes and offices to their network to enjoy voice data and over-the-top products.

The Ghanaian Times adds its voice to calls on all eligible Ghanaians no matter what party they belong to, to go out and register to enable them to exercise their franchise on December 7, 2020. The Paper reminds everyone to strictly observe the COVID-19 protocols to avoid contracting the disease during the exercise. It says the EC has given assurance that safety measures, including the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hand sanitizers as well as the compulsory wearing of face masks by all, will be enforced at all designated registration centres throughout the country to protect applicants. The Paper hopes that with this assurance, all qualified Ghanaians would turn up to register to make the exercise a success.
