The Daily Graphic believes that political instability and indiscipline result from disregard of the constitution. The paper believes engagement of citizens on political ideas, social and economic programmes must be centered on national interest. The paper notes that there must be no division when engaging in politics. The paper therefore calls on the authorities to criminalize abuse on the campaign trail adding that this will recreate party politics for the better and benefit of the people.

 

The Ghanaian Times calls on the electorates to sustain the special voting momentum. The papers says the enthusiasm and smoothness with which the exercise was conducted is indeed, a sign of good omen, that there will be a peaceful, free, fair and transparent election come December 7. The paper commends the EC and the polling agents for their show of professionalism and urges stakeholders not to rest on their oars but to sustain the momentum, to ensure peaceful elections.
