The Daily Graphic acknowledges the role that plastics have played in the socio-economic development of the country in terms of job creation and taxes. The paper lauds the launch of the National Plastic Partnership Action Plan that is set to be the game-changer in the management of plastics in the country by promoting green alternatives and nurturing the development of new business models for job creation. The Graphic thinks these efforts are good and as a country, Ghana must be able to coordinate all these into a single programme that will ensure that the war on plastic pollution is waged with a single effective action.

The Ghanaian Times calls on government to intervene in the impasse between the General Legal Council and prospective Law Students. It expresses concern about the fact that no solutions have been found over the mass failure which has been laid before the court since June 2017. The Times is worried because there seems to be no hope for the solution of the problem. The Paper proposes that another situation should not be experienced after the escalation, which occurred between the police and the prospective students. The Times believes the General Legal Council which is a creation of parliament should be working in the interest of the people.
