The Daily Graphic finds it worrisome how the recently installed street lights on the Accra-Tema motorway have failed to support the expected visibility for drivers, particularly those in the outer lanes. It says that considering the numerous accidents and crimes that occur on that stretch, under no circumstance should this have happened. The Graphic says that the circumstances surrounding the procurement of such a substandard solar powered lighting system for the motorway should be speedily investigated and perpetrators brought to book.

The Ghanaian Times is worried about the indiscriminate outdoor adverts about jobs and office space vacancy, loans and financial services, church activities and other spiritual places, obituaries, medicine and remedial classes everywhere in the country. It poses a question to the district, municipal and metropolitan assemblies that if they have byelaws against unlawful outdoor adverts and those that have lost their relevance, what are they doing to sanitise the situation? The Times says it is about time the assemblies clear such undesirable or unlawful adverts to restore beauty to the community particularly Accra which the President wants to make the cleanest city in Africa.   The paper says the district, municipal and metropolitan assemblies should stop talking and act.
