They are the living legends of BB Bands. They have come together to revive live Band performances and cater for the welfare of veteran musicians who played for BB Bands – now, some members have a handicap. The theme for the rebirth of the band is “upholding the legacy of the late legend King Bruce”.

King Bruce was a Ghanaian Composer, Band Leader, Arranger, and Multi-instrumentalist, who made his mark with Ghana’s dance band highlife tradition, in a variety of ways.

Though long gone, some of his bandsmen have come together to keep the spirit of King Bruce alive.  It was an afternoon of authentic highlife music.

A young Highlife group, Indigenous Vibes, opened the event with a rendition of one of King Bruce’s songs

This traditional band known as the super international band proved good at what they do.

It was a nostalgic moment when the only surviving member of the Osibisa band, Sol Amarfio and the rabbling Vibes displayed what they do best.

These bands are announcing their presence to the general public. They say they are available and ready to entertain when contacted.
