7th Edition of the Annual Black Art Street Festival gears up

The 7th Edition of the Annual Black Art Street Festival is scheduled to take place this Friday, December 3 at Tema- Community 4. It is a 3-day event that provides a platform for artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, fashion enthusiasts and other creative minds to network and promote their businesses.

The Black Art Street Festival started in 2014, formerly known as Tema Art and Fashion Festival, however, over the years the festival has become one of the biggest street festivals in Tema.

Speaking on the GTV’s Breakfast Show, Vendor Manager, Arajoa Brown stated that this year’s Black Art Festival will include live art paintings, sales from vendors, Fashion Runway and music.

The Vendor Manager disclosed that renowned artists including a UK-based Artist, Nii Kwei Juke Janey, Hnortey, Moh Awudu and Kwasi Agyare will paint the walls of Kaiser Flats.

The festival will be happening on the Kaiser Flat Street in Tema Community 4 starting Friday, 3rd to 5th December.

On Friday, there will be a live art painting, Runway show on Saturday and the festival will be climaxed with a musical concert on Sunday.

The organizers of the festival added that the slot for vendors is still open till Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
