The Chief Executive Officer of the Chorale and Composers Festival, Mr. Dominic Pobee has mentioned Choral Music as a healer of some sicknesses, such as headaches, depression and anxiety.
The Sixth Edition of the Choral and Composers Festival is set to take stage and Mr. Pobee recounted on the success the previous editions had chalked despite the low support and appreciation Choral Music has in Ghana.
According to him, there are about eight hundred and twenty-five composers and more than hundred and twenty-five Choir groups here in Ghana. The Choral and Composers Festivals is poised to award and showcase the faces of the people behind the melodious choral music Ghanaians and the world enjoy.
This year’s edition which is to take place on December 10,2022 at the Ring road Central Assemblies of God in Accra, will feature 10 Groups.
They each would perform songs from 10great Ghanaian Composers. The event will also be streamed live on the GTV Lifestyle Channel.
