Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido’s loss at the 66th Grammy Awards has not dampened the spirits of his fans and supporters, including Ananzo, the washing bay promoter who previously received a generous gift of $5,000 from the singer for promoting his music.
Ananzo expressed his admiration for Davido in a post on X, formerly Twitter, saying: “Grammy or not, you won our hearts,” while praising the artiste for taking African rhythms to the global stage. He ended his message with the hashtag #30BGFORLIFE.

Davido, who was nominated in three categories, including Best African Music Performance, lost to South African singer Tyla, who won the award for her hit song Push 2 Start.
Despite the loss, Davido congratulated Tyla on social media, describing her win as a big moment for Africa and encouraging her to keep soaring.
The singer also thanked his fans for their continued support, saying he loved them all and would continue to deliver. While some fans expressed disappointment over the Grammy outcome, others encouraged him to keep pushing.
