Korean Star Sulli found dead aged 25

Korean Celebrity Choi Jin-ri who is known in the industry as Sulli has been found dead in her room South Korea.

The 25year old K-pop star was found dead by her Manager today. Sulli’s manager spoke to her last Sunday.

He decided to check on her this afternoon when he couldn’t reach her on phone.

Choi Jin-ri, was found on the second floor of her house in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, south of the capital city, Seoul.

“So far, it seems it a suicide. We will live all possibilities open and investigate” a police official said.

A note was found at the crime scene. The police have not publicly announced the content in the note. Investigations are ongoing.

Sulli started her movie career at childhood. She made her breakthrough with the singing debut girl group in 2009.

In 2015, she left the music band to concentrate on her acting profession. She returned to the music industry as a solo artist. She released a single called “Goblin” in 2019.

She receives numerous negative comments from social media users.

Stars in the industry are subject to intense pressure. It has been linked to mental health crisis in the industry.

She was working on her new song before the sudden death.

Detail information about her death has not been disclosed.
