If you wake up to a flood of X notifications, it likely means the agenda boys are on your neck for saying the wrong thing — or you’re trending for all the right reasons if you nailed it. Either way, this app isn’t for the faint-hearted.
However, popular social media personality Olele Salvador has credited Ghana’s X (formerly Twitter) community for playing a key role in his personal development during an appearance on the GTV Breakfast Show.
Reflecting on his 13-year journey on the platform, he emphasised how the distinctive Ghanaian X culture has positively influenced his growth.
“Apart from the bad nuts, you have some well-meaning people who send direct messages to guide you to do the right thing,” he said during the broadcast.
The social media influencer revealed a significant transformation in his online presence, stating: “In the early seven years, that wasn’t me. I found my purpose along the way.”
During the show, the Ghanaian X culture was described as “hard street” — representing a generation known for their unfiltered expression and passionate advocacy for their beliefs. This digital community has gained recognition for its authenticity and determination in pursuing what its members stand for.
