An Accra Circuit Court has adjourned to the 25th of next month the case involving two musicians, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale and Samuel Adu Frimpong, also known as Medikal.
The adjournment came after Defence Lawyers prayed the court to consider the festive season and allow their clients some time to spend with their families. The Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Denis Tekpertey had nothing to say about the Lawyers plea but told the court that there is one accomplice they are yet to arrest.
The Circuit Court Judge, Emmanuel Essando after listening to both parties, adjourned the case to the 25th of January, 2022.
The accused persons have been charged for the publication of false news and causing fear and panic, and the display of arms and ammunition.
