Highlife musician and Presidential Staffer for the Black Star Experience, Rex Omar, has revealed plans to train tour guides at various tourist sites. This, he says, will be needed in intentionally developing the tourism infrastructure.
Mr. Omar also expressed plans to promote Ghana’s cultural and tourism sectors through intentional development and strategic partnerships.
According to him, initiatives include sending Ghanaians abroad to acquire skills, supporting young creatives, and developing tourism infrastructure.

The Black Star Experience, a platform aimed at rebranding Ghana through art, culture, and tourism, will focus on promoting Ghanaian culture, including food, clothing, and music.
Rex Omar also highlighted plans to establish record labels with private partners and develop tourist sites across regions.
The goal, he said, is to make Ghana the cultural capital and boost economic growth through these initiatives.
