State Banquet held to round up Prince Charles and Camila's visit

President Akufo-Addo says Ghana stands in readiness to deepen relations with the UK for mutual benefit despite the potential fall outs from Brexit. He indicated that Ghana together with other Commonwealth nations seek to leave a legacy that will benefit future generations.

He made the remarks when he held a State Banquet in honour of the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles and his wife, Camila at the Jubilee House. President Akufo-Addo, used the occasion to  confer a State Honour Companion of the Order of the Star of Ghana, Honorary Division on the Prince of Wales for his charitable works across the globe.

The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles and his spouse, Camila have been in Ghana over the past four days as part of their tour to some Commonwealth countries.

       

The banquet held in their honour was to round up his visit to the country and also show appreciation to him for his efforts towards human rights among other things.

The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles expressed gratitude to government for the warm reception during the visit.

He said he will return home with cherished memories.
